Make your posts motivate people to tackle the new day. Six of your seven posts should be related to what your book is about but don’t sell. Then one of the posts during the course of the day should be directly sales related.
LinkedIn is great for so many different reasons. LinkedIn is where you’re going to find anyone who reads, blogs, or writes. Through LinkedIn you can find people who are synergistic to you; people you can collaborate with to increase sales for both of you at the same time. They’re all over LinkedIn. GET INVOLVED WITH THE GROUPS. The groups on LinkedIn are excellent. Post comments that are relevant to the topic of your book and share other people’s ideas throughout LinkedIn. This will help people find you, which in turn, will help you find more customers.
Google+
Get Personal on Google+. Everyone wants to get their search engine optimized, so if you post on Google+ that is going to help you. Again, we recommend posting five to seven times a day. Get involved in their community discussions, create circles of business people, acquaintances, friends, and family. Don’t be afraid to do a personal post. Sharing pictures of your family at the beach or having fun. Why? Because that’s relatable. People want to buy your book because you’re a real person; because they like you.
YouTube
Youtube.com is excellent for book sales once you have created a video book trailer. Why is it so important? Think about it! If a picture is worth a thousand words, HOW MANY WORDS IS A VIDEO WORTH?
