A video book trailer is an advertisement for an author’s book. You want to employ techniques similar to those of movie trailers to promote your book(s). Book trailer advertising encourage readers to consider purchasing your book by providing a short film that will heighten their senses.

There are three kinds of popular book trailers.

1. Standard book trailers are called video-podcasts which are simple still photos set to music with text conveying the story
2. Higher quality book trailers are called cinematic book trailers and are created by professionals. Common formats of cinematic book trailers include actors performing scenes from the book akin to a movie trailer, full production trailers, flash videos, and animation. Keep in mind that there is usually a high cost associated with this type of book trailer.

ABB will immediately post your book trailer on YouTube for the world to see. Book Trailers can be circulated on television and online in most common digital video formats. We will post your book trailer for everyone to view. Just complete the Book Trailer upload form. Once the book trailer is in place, we will market your book via ABB resources.
