I grew up in Miami in the 80’s. As a teenager I would listen to Freestyle music on Power 96, and cruise the Grove. I loved to watch my friends play soccer or football on the weekends. I feel so lucky to have grown up in a city with cultural diversity. There is no place on earth like Miami. If you come here not knowing Spanish, you will leave here at least knowing some Spanglish. I have been married now eighteen years, and my husband by far has been my biggest supporter on my journey of writing. We have two cats and a dog named Daisy. I have a shot of colada every morning, and always toast to great day before I take a sip.
